ServiceNow Specialist

Rimi Baltic IT Process and Governance team is looking to welcome a new ServiceNow application Specialist to our team! The ServiceNow application is used for various processes in our company, including IT Service Management, ITOM, Access management automation, Business Support, and more.  As a ServiceNow application Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting users. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date application's technical documentation, including user manuals and internal technical baselines. You will take care of the ServiceNow platform, various interfaces with other systems, develop and improve workflows, build and develop new functions and participate or lead implementation of new ServiceNow applications and functions in cooperation with our ServiceNow development partner.

If You Have: 

  • Proven experience working with the ServiceNow platform, encompassing administration, development, and support. 
  • Solid proficiency in JavaScript, adept at debugging custom solutions and integrations within the ServiceNow framework. 
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, striving towards common objectives. 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) are advantageous. 
  • Prior experience in the IT service management field is mandatory. 
  • Prior experience with the Agile Way of Working is a plus. 
  • Native proficiency in one of the Baltic languages is a must. 
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). 
  • Desire for learning and self-development.

  • Provide responsive support for the ServiceNow platform, addressing incoming incidents and requests promptly and effectively. 
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational needs and enhance efficiency. 
  • Lead planned improvement tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes. 
  • Participate in or lead the implementation of new functions and applications within the ServiceNow environment. 
  • Maintain and update technical documentation related to the ServiceNow platform to ensure accuracy and relevance. 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of JavaScript, effectively leveraging it within the ServiceNow ecosystem. 
  • Exhibit excellent planning skills to organize tasks and projects effectively.
